SmartLynx signs wet lease agreement with easyJet
SmartLynx Airlines, a Latvia‘s charter airline, signed an ACMI wet lease agreement with easyJet Airline Company (easyjet) for an Airbus A320, MSN 662 with Latvian Registration Mark YL-LCN.
The plane will be leased from the 1st of April till 28th of October 2017 and it will operate form the base in London Luton Airport, United Kingdom.
According to SmartLynx, this is the third aircraft SmartLynx has leased to EasyJet in 2017. Earlier this year both companies signed a wet lease agreement under which SmartLynx wet leases to EasyJet two other A320s. Both aircraft will operate from base in London Gatwick Airport, United Kingdom.
SmartLynx now manages a fleet of 11 all Airbus aircraft. At the same time, the UK-based LCC easyjet operates a fleet of 238 all Airbus aircraft in its 19 European bases.
