Chapman Freeborn lands in New Jersey
Expanding its international operations, Chapman Freeborn is growing to meet the increasing demands of the air charter sector and support existing customers in the US market.
Ben Hampton joined Chapman Freeborn as the Cargo Director for the Northeastern United States. Prior to joining, Hampton was the Director of Sales for a part 135 operator, and prior to that was the Assistant Director of US Cargo for a global charter brokerage.
The new Chapman Freeborn office opened on January 18, 2020, in Parsippany, New Jersey. “We’ll be neighbors with some of the largest freight forwarders in the world and we’ll be introducing ourselves to new customers nationwide,” said Hampton. This office will also support passenger charter sales and the long-term growth plans of scheduled service operations of Chapman’s subsidiary Magma Aviation and their fleet of Boeing 747 freighters.
The Chapman Freeborn group was established in the UK in 1973. It specializes in the charter and lease of aircraft for customers ranging from freight forwarders to humanitarian agencies.
