Air India Express flight turns back after technical glitch
An Air India Express flight (registered VT-AXT) scheduled to operate from Trivandrum International Airport (TRV) to Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) on September 13, 2021, returned to TRV shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft departed from TRV at 06:37 local time and returned in roughly 18 minutes of the flight time as per data on Flightradar24.com.
The flight with 170 passengers and six crew on board was affected by an unspecified technical glitch, as reported by the Hindustan Times. It landed safely at TRV, where another flight was arranged for passengers to SHJ, added Hindustan Times.
