UK start-up flypop expands its fleet with second Airbus A330
The United Kingdom’s new low-cost long-haul airline flypop has expanded its fleet by adding a second Airbus A330 aircraft to its fleet.
The carrier’s new Airbus A330, registered as 9H-PTP, touched down at flypop’s home base London Stansted Airport (STN) for the first time on January 15, 2022. The new aircraft will run scheduled cargo operations until the airline starts its passenger service.
“Fantastic to see our second flypop aircraft in the skies and especially here at our UK base at London Stansted Airport and flying over my house. flypop is now a revenue generating airline and we look forward to continuing to grow our fleet of aircraft throughout 2022 for both cargo and passenger operations,” (Nino) Navdip Singh Judge, CEO & Principal of flypop announced in a statement.

Throughout 2022, the airline plans to add two more aircraft to its fleet. The new aircraft will also run cargo operations. Meanwhile, in summer 2022, flypop plans to begin passenger service from the UK to India.
“We expect a surge in demand for low-cost flights to India from the UK from Q2 onwards,” added Nino.
