British low-cost leisure airline Jet2 is suspending flights to Krakow in Poland due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.  

The news appeared on March 9, 2022, when Jet2 canceled scheduled flights from Newcastle International Airport (NCL) in the UK to Krakow John Paul II International Airport (KRK) in Poland.   

In a statement, the airline informed passengers that the route will remain closed from March 27 until the end of May 2022.

A Jet2 spokesperson told ITV News. "Due to current circumstances, we have decided to suspend our flights and city breaks programs to Krakow from 24th March up to and including 26th May.  

“Where customers are affected by any program changes, we will automatically cancel their booking with a full refund.”
