Etihad Cargo appoints road feeder service providers for US customers
Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of the Etihad Aviation Group has announced that it will enhance its operations in the United States by appointing Accelerated, Inc and Jet Airways as road feeder service providers.
Road feeder is a service offered by a scheduled cargo operator to move its goods to and from the aircraft or cargo terminal by road. It allows the carrier to offer services to cities that it does not fly to.

Etihad Cargo said that its partnership with Accelerated and Jet Airways will expand the carrier’s capabilities in the USA and will enable customers to benefit from various logistics solutions, including dedicated capacity and 24-hour personalized customer service.
Etihad Cargo also said that it will employ modern technology developed to give customers complete transparency in relation to shipments, including GPS tracking and real-time shipment information.
Accelerated, Inc and Jet Airways will allow Etihad Cargo to have expanded road transportation fleet, including standard trailers, roller beds, day cabs, step decks, flatbeds, straight trucks with lift-gate capabilities, cargo vans, refrigerated vehicles and other specialized equipment to offer its customer a broader range of products and transportation options.
