Cypriot airline TUS Airways announces new CEO
Ahmed Aly has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Cypriot airline TUS Airways, replacing previous CEO, Michael Weinstein.
“As the airline embarks on the next chapter of its development, my focus will be to strengthen the airline’s leading position in Cyprus & the Mediterranean by offering a raft of exciting & innovative products and destinations to our customers,” Aly said in the company’s statement.
TUS Airways, a scheduled and charter airline, was established in 2015 and is based in Cyprus. The airline briefly suspended operations before relaunching in 2021.
From its main hub at Larnaca International Airport (LCA), TUS Airways operates a fleet of four Airbus A320 aircraft, the latest of which was added in May 2022.
